1991
Gusto is established in 1991 designing and producing leisurewear and knitted woolen apparel, made in Australia.
Gusto Clothing becomes the first Australian company and one of the first companies in the world to design, develop and sell Wool plus Lycra knitwear.
Gusto receives widespread industry acclaim and knitwear becomes a strong and important part of the Gusto Clothing business.
1996
Gusto secures the exclusive Australian distribution rights for the French Underwear and Swimwear label HOM. Gusto successfully launches the world famous HO1 underwear design, expands its distribution base across Australasia, and HOM provides Gusto with an introduction to International trade.
A working partner and investor out of Hong Kong is secured.
1998
Gusto stop manufacturing, and source an Italian knitwear brand Gran Sasso. This provides the introduction into womenswear and within two years Gran Sasso is established as Australia’s most successful upmarket knitwear brand.
2004
Gusto open ‘Styleroom’, a men’s and women’s retail concept, and begin an ambitious project to create an online style and shopping tool.

The wholesale business moves into larger premises, and the exclusive Australasian distribution rights for the German men’s and women’s brand Brax, is secured.`
2009
Exclusive distribution for Patrizia Pepe - a young fast fashion women’s brand out of Florence, is secured.
2012
The Australian Federal Government recognize Gusto Clothing’s online interactive style and shopping tool as a legitimate scientific process, and provide an annual Research and Development grant.
2015
Gusto is approached and secures exclusive distribution in Australasia for Marella, MAX MARA Weekend, MAX MARA Studio and Penny Black.
2017
Gusto negotiates the exclusive Australasian distribution for the Italian luxury sportswear brand Paul & Shark.
